Hello Beacon Lodge! Hard to believe, but I was a counselor in the adult camp 30 years ago, 1977. I am glad the camp is still going strong, I have fond memories of the campers and the staff. With your well-stocked lake, I had to learn real fast how to take fish off the hook!Funny, but now I live in PA, near Pittsburgh, and the beautiful hills in summer remind me of BL in the mountains. Anyone else from way back then?

Hey there! I worked at Beacon Lodge in the summer of 06, and I have to say that it was such a great experience. The campers are inspirational and the staff are soooooooo dedicated. I realy hope that I will return one day as I have such fond memories!

When Kyle turned 8 years old I decided to start looking for a camp for him for the summers.I called over 25 camps and know one wanted to accept Kyle because he had multi-disabilities,he is mute ,does not sign, and uses no commucation system. Then we came across Beacon Lodge.Beacon Lodge accepted Kyle with open arms and Kyle has been with camp beacon for two years. Kyle and I drive 2 1/2 hours just to come to camp every summer. This year the board decided to take the children's special care session out so Kyle will not be attending. Kyle is going to miss all the great people that he had a chance to meet and miss all the fun, exciting things he had to do at beacon. This is truly the best special needs camp.

Hello everyone, I'm pleased to finally get the guestbook back online. We were unfortunately having a lot of problems with spam, but hopefully that will be a thing of the past. We are in the process of compiling the site updates for the 2007 camp season. We will be getting everything online in the coming weeks. STAY TUNED!!

My wife and I had our first trip to Beacon Lodge just yesterday (7/16/06).
We were absolutely astounded at the facilities that are available for campers.
You can be assured that your camp will be promoted, and supported, by district 14F while I'm district governor.
